Regional cooperation

One Ukraine. A network of opportunities for every region.

The Institute is based in Kyiv, but its activities are not limited to the capital. We are developing cooperation with communities, educational institutions, civil society organizations and employers in different regions of Ukraine, so that a veteran or a family member can find educational and professional opportunities regardless of where they live.

Note on the map: A region marked on the map shows the territorial coverage of the Institute’s information and remote opportunities. It does not mean there is a physical office or a permanent coordinator in every Oblast.

Our areas of regional work

For territorial communities

Seminars, educational meetings, discussions of local needs, and preparing management and social teams for developing veterans’ policy.

For educational institutions

Joint programs, learning pathways, professional development, career counseling and exchange of methodologies.

For veterans and families

Information about available educational formats, consultations, partner events and professional opportunities.

For business

Dialogue on staffing needs, employment, workplace accessibility, internships and support for entrepreneurship.

For the civic sector

Coordination of initiatives, exchange of experience and joint events that meet the needs of a specific community.

Presence in a region means cooperation and access to programs, not necessarily a separate physical office.

For each unit, a separate card with verified information is planned: available programs, announcements, consultation formats, confirmed partners, the date of the last update and a secure communication channel. If a specific local partner has not yet been identified, the site honestly offers remote contact with the central team.

How we start working with a community

01

Getting acquainted and identifying needs

The community describes its target groups, requests, infrastructure, existing programs and main barriers.

02

Joint plan

We agree on topics for training, consultations, events, employer participation and support formats.

03

Implementation

We hold the agreed meetings and involve the necessary specialists and partners.

04

Evaluation

We record results, feedback, needs for continuation and the potential for scaling successful solutions.

For communities operating in difficult conditions

We understand that the security situation, relocation, unstable power supply and internet access may affect participation. We therefore consider remote, hybrid and deferred formats, as well as individual organizational solutions where possible. Participant data, addresses and contacts from occupied or dangerous territories are not published without proper risk assessment.

Invitation to cooperate

We are open to regional and local authorities, communities, universities, colleges, vocational education centers, employers, foundations and veterans’ organizations. Tell us about your regional request, and we will discuss a practical format of cooperation.

Frequently asked questions

Do you have an office in my oblast?

The Institute’s physical base is located at KNUCA in Kyiv. The list of local cooperation points is published only after their status has been confirmed.

Can I receive a consultation from another oblast?

Yes, you can get in touch remotely; the availability of a specific service depends on the program.

Do you work with communities from temporarily occupied territories?

We strive to maintain secure remote connections and access to information wherever this is possible and does not create risks for people.
