Recovery is part of the pathway to a full life
Rehabilitation is not only a medical procedure. It may include restoring functions, psychological support, adapting daily life, returning to physical activity, learning and social participation. We aim to help a person see the available support options and not be left alone to face a complex system of services.
Our approach
The Institute coordinates communication with partner specialists and organizations that may be able to help in the relevant areas. Medical decisions, diagnostics, treatment and rehabilitation interventions are carried out by authorized specialists and institutions within the scope of their powers and licenses. The Institute does not issue medical opinions and does not replace a doctor.
Areas of support
Medical navigation
Finding a suitable specialist or facility, clarifying how to apply, help with finding the right pathway.
Psychological support
Information about available verified services and psychological assistance programs.
Neurological and other consequences of injuries
Coordinating contact with specialists in neurology, the consequences of traumatic brain injuries, concussions and other conditions within partner programs.
Adaptive sports
Involvement in accessible physical activity, sports communities and social interaction programs, taking into account the doctor’s recommendations.
Social and daily-life adaptation
Finding information about the accessibility of the environment, necessary services and support in the community.
Professional reintegration
Combining recovery with manageable study, retraining, internships and preparation for work.
How to get a consultation about your pathway
Leave a short request without diagnoses or confidential attachments. We will clarify what information you are looking for, which region you are in and what type of contact suits you. If a suitable program is available, we will suggest the next organizational step.
Support for families
Families often need no less clarity about available services than the person themselves after injury or service. We support the search for educational information, consultation pathways and partner resources for family members within specific programs.
Safety principle
Do not upload medical opinions, test results or other sensitive data through the website’s general form. Medical information may be transmitted only through separate secure channels agreed with the relevant medical provider and where there is a lawful basis.
