Since the beginning of 2026, the Khmelnytskyi Regional Employment Service has concluded 327 agreements with territorial communities and employers of the region for organising socially useful works. More than UAH 27 million has already been allocated for their implementation, and 3,042 unemployed people have been involved in carrying out tasks important for communities.

The “Army of Recovery” project helps simultaneously to support people, strengthen the regional economy and address the urgent needs of communities.

“By taking part in socially useful works, people receive official income and insurance record, and communities gain additional opportunities for addressing important social tasks. In current conditions this is especially important,” — says Vitalii Bandyrskyi, director of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Employment Centre.

Main areas of work:

  • assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine: sewing clothing for servicemen, weaving camouflage nets, packing humanitarian aid, preparing dry rations;
  • support for war veterans and their families;
  • care for elderly citizens and assistance to them;
  • equipping shelters.

Pay is made in accordance with the terms of the work performed and cannot be lower than the minimum wage - 8,647 hryvnias, and the period of participation in the project counts towards the insurance record.
